I haven't posted for a while and it's because I have been so snowed under it's not funny. I have started at a new school and it's a lot smaller than my last school which therefore means I have to do everything myself for my grade and there are a lot of expectations. I feel like I'm snowed under and the search party has gone home. I really enjoy working with the staff at my new school but like me they are all flat out. I really miss my friends from my last school, but unfortunately teacher life restricts them as well from catching up more often.
Last week was probably the lowest point this term due to my partner having an accident and my house being broken into.
Amazingly this week I feel more organised and have more of an idea of what I need to do. I am also in the middle of doing two UNI assignments both of which I haven't started eeeekkkkk when are the holidays???
I will work towards posting on here more often.

Welcome
Hi Everyone!
This is my first ever blog. I heard about blogs from a lovely new teacher at my school. I thought it would be a great way to communicate with other teachers and share ideas and offer support. I am a beginning teacher and have been out of uni for three years now. I have been lucky enough to have full time classroom teaching positions during this time which has allowed me to learn a lot!! Last year in 2011 I moved back to my home town and taught Kindergarten. I loved the school and the staff and had a great year. Although challenging at times this is what I think has made me become a better teacher, as you can only grow from your mistakes. This year I am changing schools to work in a small private junior school on Kinder/Year 1. Im looking forward to the new challenge and working in a different system.
My aim for this blog is to log my experiences and resources as a new teacher and hopefully get some feedback from other new teachers and expererienced teachers.
Look forward to talking to you soon
